This is kind of a weird category. For example, I would never have called Julia Stiles or Ashley Judd artists. Maybe there should be feminist actors and feminist musicians categories? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.170.168.49 ( talk • contribs) 02:15, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
The definition of "feminist artist" is too vague for this list to mean or explain much of anything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.11.8.149 ( talk • contribs) 20:27, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
The fact that there was a CFD with no consensus doesn't mean we can't work on the category. It looks like the category was originally designed to include the cross-section of artists who are also feminists, and I think it's descriptively named that. However, there's another category that really should be considered -- artists whose art is specifically feminist art. Obviously, they would be included within this category, but unfortunately, they would be lost within the masses of artists who are feminists but whose art is not specifically feminist art. Thoughts? -- lquilter 21:38, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
A list of feminist artists and no Madonna? What drugs are you guys on?!
Many of the articles about the women included here don't even mention or proof they're actually feminist. 79.223.109.167 ( talk) 14:44, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
