I've got some spectra (.jpeg/.pdf) of quite a lot of different compounds that I've obtained my self (at the university). I could put the peaks down as a table, but personally I'd rather look at a spectra (maybe combined with a table, if it's too vague/bad resolution). Can we open up for the addition of spectra? And if so, how?

I think that in the case of chemicals, having data pages like these are essential for explaining the nature of each chemical. However, WP:RAWDATA says that typically such charts of information are not appropriate for inclusion into Wikipedia.
What was the motivation for making these pages? Was there any community discussion? Was there any controversy about creating these? Thanks. Blue Rasberry (talk) 18:59, 15 March 2013 (UTC)
