So essentially anti-communists are best categorized as Cuban terrorists, Fascists, Nazis, Neo-Nazis, Neoconservatives, and SS personnel with only the Pope and maybe Russian counter-revolutionaries being arguably "good guy" anti-communists?-- T. Anthony 08:22, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
This a joke. You can be anit-communist and not be facist. Remove facists. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.72.123.222 ( talk • contribs) 00:40, 12 Dec 2006 (UTC)
This is an absurd category. Surely anyone who's not communist is anti-communist unless they're a fellow traveller or a useful idiot? Is Orwell really an anti-Communist? He's an anti-Stalinist, but is that the same thing? By that reckoning, Trotsky would be an anti-Communist. Really, I have no idea what this category seeks to achieve. Hi there. Does this category actually mean anything, given that it includes George H. W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, Winston Churchill, Adolf Hitler, Joseph McCarthy, Pope John Paul II, Ayn Rand and Lech Wałęsa?! Is an anti-communist somebody who opposes the ideology, or somebody who opposes a regime calling itself communist? I would nominate this category for deletion on the grounds of Overcategorization as it groups people by their opinions, but I realize there are dozens of subcategories and I'm not sure how to go about things... Any thoughts anybody? Davidelit 06:13, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
These categories are based on political orientation and action. Just as there are communists categories, so there are anti-communists categories. Same difference. Hmains 03:12, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Problems mentioned in this paragraph are still actual in 2024. There are many fighters against communist regimes troughout history, who strictly refuse anti-communism. Anti-communism is distinct ideology, not just someone who disagrees with communism. I propose deletion of this categorization. -- ThecentreCZ ( talk) 17:10, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
