At least three early Astronauts, Gordon Cooper, Thomas Stafford, and Edward White, were Methodists. For Cooper, refer to his autobiography "Leap of Faith". For Stafford, refer to his autobiography "We Have Capture". Many people are a member of this category despite no proof of the person's Methodist affiliation being offered in the article. People should only be in this category if text within the article supports the person's Methodist affiliation.
Being a Methodist means being a member of a Methodist church or having some other strong religious affiliation with Wesleyan principles.
