This is for people from Arkansas Territory. The Territory was formed in 1819 and in theory included at the time most of modern Oklahoma. It lost most of that area in 1824. However people in that area should only be included if it is clear they in some way recognized the Arkansas Territory government, Osage, Comanche and other peoples who lived according to their rules and did not recognize the Territorial government should not be included in this category.
