The Maynooth College Cemetery had its first interment in 1817 (former Vice-president Francis Power (1737-1817)), four members of the College staff, who died before 1817, were buried in Laraghbryan Cemetery on the Kilcock Road, west of the Campus. Four members of the Daughters of Charity, a Vincentian order who were charged with the care of the sick in the college from 1905, are also buried here. Thomas A. F. Kelly(1956-2009) first lay member of staff to be buried in the cemetery.
