This is a category for all broad gauge railways built with a track gauge of 5 ft (1,524 mm). It was known as Russian gauge until 1960s. As in the late of 1960s the "Russian gauge" was redefined to 1,520 mm (4 ft 11+2732 in) for the Soviet Union.
