This is the key to tying the ring to established editor Soxrock. This little-used account started editing furiously on August 1, 2007 at 22:48 UTC, exactly three minutes after Soxrock became inactive for the day. (Soxrock usually edited heavily until around 02:00 UTC each morning). NBAonNBC edited the talk archive of banned user
Tecmobowl (
talk·contribs) trying to piece together the fragmented history. He was suddenly blocked on August 2 at 01:09 UTC by
Ryulong(
talk·contribs·blocks·protections·deletions·page moves·rights·RfA) who thought he was Tecmobowl (which, by the way, I don't believe). NBAonNBC's last talk page edit was on August 2 at 03:50 so the autoblock was presumably set to expire on August 3 at 03:50. Soxrock, who usually resumed editing between 11:00 and 13:00 UTC each day, never started editing on August 3. When asked a question on his talk page, he
responded just 14 minutes later. A few responses later, he
admitted to being caught in an autoblock and said it would expire on August 3 at 03:50 - exactly 24 hours after NBAonNBC's last edit. He
lied and said that the autoblock was from a six-day old block with no possible relation (blockee was a sock of someone who edited from a different region of the country entirely). (He later
added that he returned from home around 9:09 which, in EDT, is exactly when NBAonNBC was blocked. Not sure what that means).
Notably, despite claiming innocence, Soxrock never requested to be released from the autoblock. When asked about it, the
response did not address the fact.
CreatedGeorge Bodenheimer as an attack page with an apologetic edit summary. When it was nominated for speedy deletion, Soxrock appeared to
remove the speedy and expand, thereby solidifying the attack revision in history.
Sarah Goldberg (

WP:CHU'ed from User:Catherine Woods):
User:NBAonNBC let slip that Sarah Goldberg's e-mail is the same as
User:FoxSportsRadio's (explained
here). As a further tie, on August 11, 2006, FoxSportsRadio uploaded
Image:Juarezmuerte.jpg, a gruesome picture of a woman with her face burned off (added to his user page
here but the image was since deleted). On February 2, 2007, Sarah Goldberg/Catherine Woods uploaded the exact same image as
Image:Femicide.jpg. (That image was also deleted).
