In Alberta a school teachings grades 7-9 is officially called a "junior high school" by the province, and by most school districts. Sometimes the term " middle school" is also used, as that is a more common term throughout North America. If at least one grade falls in this range, it should be included in this category (and it many cases will be appear in the other categories, as well). In some parts of Alberta high school will include Grade 9.
