This category groups Governors-General of the Province of Canada from the Union of the Canadas in 1840 to Confederation in 1867.

(Note that Governors-General who were British peers are normally referred to by their title, not by their given name. For instance, Charles Poulett Thomson, 1st Baron Sydenham is listed as Sydenham, not as Thomson.)
