Cantuaria reducta is a species of trapdoor spider endemic to New Zealand. [1]
This species was described in 1968 by Ray Forster from female specimens collected in Canterbury. The holotype is stored at Canterbury Museum. [1]
The female is recorded at 12.5mm in length. The carapace and legs are pale reddish brown. The abdomen is cream with black patches. [1]
This species is only known from Canterbury, New Zealand. [1]
