Boles is an unincorporated community in northern Franklin County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1]

The community sits above the Missouri River floodplain approximately six miles east of Washington. Labadie lies about 1.5 miles to the east. [2]

History

A post office called Boles was established in 1864 and remained in operation until 1939. [3] The community most likely was named after Boles Township. [4]
