Bogo Blay Labran David (born June 13, 1994), known professionally as Bogo Blay, is a Ghanaian singer, rapper and songwriter. He was the winner of the 2018 edition of the Vodafone Icons music reality show. [1] [2] [3]
In 2018, Bogo Blay won the Vodafone Icons competition. [1] He has also been able to release his first album, "WAILING MONSTER."
In an interview with Tony Best on Akoma FM's Kwantenpon Drive in December 2020, Bogo Blay revealed that money is one of the major reasons why it's hard to get an A-list artist on a song, stating that rapper Sarkodie, for instance, could take about GH¢30,000 for a feature. [4]
Rapper E.L stated that Bogo Blay, along with artists like Worlasi, Black Sherif, and Gyakie, will take Ghanaian music to the next level internationally with their quality sounds, if given maximum support. [5]
