Bima Kumari Dura ( Nepali: बिमा कुमारी दुरा) is a Nepali folk singer known for her contributions to Nepali music. [2] [3] [4]
Dura was born in the indigenous Dura community in Duradanda, Lamjung, Nepal.
Dura recorded her first song Chhoriko Juni in 1989. [5] After that she went on to become one of the top faces in Dohori scene of Nepal throughout the 90s and 2000s. She has been awarded with multiple awards.
