Benincasa is a genus of flowering plants in the cucumber family, Cucurbitaceae. It includes two species native to Indomalaya and Australasia:

  • Benincasa fistulosa (Stocks) H.Schaef. & S.S.Renner –  tinda
  • Benincasa hispida (Thunb.) Cogn. –  wax gourd
