Bavaleh ( Persian: باوله) [a] is a village in Bavaleh Rural District of Bavaleh District, Sonqor County, Kermanshah province, Iran, serving as capital of both the district [4] and the rural district. [5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,320 in 299 households, when it was in the Central District. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,507 people in 356 households. [7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,080 people in 281 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
In 2021, Bavaleh Rural District and Gavrud Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Bavaleh District. [4]
