Bakhta ( Russian: Бахта) is a rural locality (a village) [6] in Turukhansky District, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. [1] It is part of Turukhansky Municipal District. [3]
The village is located in the right bank of the Yenisei, by its confluence with the Bakhta River. There is a pier for boats reaching the village. Bakhta houses the Museum of Taiga Traditions. [7] Mirnoye hamlet is located approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) to the south of Bakhta, also on the same bank of the Yenisei.
