Bacillus clarkii is a facultative anaerobe bacterium. [1] It is a gram positive, alkaliphilic and alkalitolerant, aerobic endospore-forming bacteria.
This species has been recently transferred into the genus Evansella. [2] The correct nomenclature is Evansella clarkii.
