Axel Bourlon (born 14 March 1991) [1] is a French Paralympic powerlifter. [2] He won the silver medal in the men's 54 kg event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. [3] [4] He was born with achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism. [2]

Career

At the 2019 World Para Powerlifting Championships held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, he competed in the men's 54 kg event. He also competed in this event at the 2021 World Para Powerlifting Championships held in Tbilisi, Georgia. [5]

In September 2021, Bourlon was awarded the Ordre national du Mérite. [6]
