It is found in Asia from India [1] to Hong Kong, [2] Japan, Taiwan, [3] Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia and Java. [4]
The males of this species have a wingspan of 19–22 mm.
The larvae had been recorded on Cocculus sp. ( Menispermaceae). [5]
