In an effort to automate and depoliticize the justice system, the Spanish government plans to replace judges with Artificial Intelligence software. [1] [2]

The film was produced by Justicia Artificial AIE, Tornasol Media, Abano Produciones and Ukbar Filmes, with the participation of RTVE and Prime Video, and the support of ICAA and AGADIC. [1] [2]
In November 2022, RTVE reported the beginning of filming in Galicia. [1] Additional footage was shot in Lisbon. [3]
Release
The film is scheduled to be released theatrically in Spain on 13 September 2024 with A Contracorriente Films overseeing domestic distribution. [1]
