Arthopyrenia is a genus of fungi in the family Trypetheliaceae. [2] It was formerly classified in the eponymic family Arthopyreniaceae, but molecular phylogenetics studies showed that the type species, Arthopyrenia cerasi, was a member of the Trypetheliaceae. [3]
As of October 2023 [update], Species Fungorum (in the Catalogue of Life) accepts 55 species of Arthopyrenia: [2]
