Arhopala dodonaea, the pale Himalayan oakblue, (sometimes listed as a synonym of Amblypodia rama) [3] is a small butterfly found in India that belongs to the lycaenids or blues family.
Both male and female are blue with a broad border. The underside is grey. The female forewing termen is markedly crenulate.
The butterfly occurs in India ( Kumaon) and Pakistan. [4] Afghanistan, Northwest Himalaya - Sikkim, Chitral.
William Harry Evans reported that the species was common in 1932. [4]
