Anni-Linnea Alanen (born 11 November 2002) is a Finnish javelin thrower. She is a multiple time national champion. [1]
She won her first Finnish national title in the javelin in 2021 at the age of 18 years-old. Her winning throw of 59.52 metres set a national under-19 record. [2] [3] She was a bronze medalist at the 2021 European Athletics U20 Championships in Tallinn. [4] [5]
She competed in the javelin throw at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich. [6]
She was a bronze medalist at the 2023 European Athletics U23 Championships in Espoo. [7] She went on to win her second national title in July 2023. [8] She competed at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest. [9]
In June 2024, she competed in the javelin throw at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome. [10] Later that month, she retained the Finnish national title. [11]
