Early life

Anisha alongside all four of her siblings attended Jerudong International School. She attended the University of Bath in the United Kingdom from 2013 to 2017, to pursue European studies with French and Spanish. [3] She was born in England to a Croatian father and a Bruneian Malay mother. Additionally, she also completed a semester in Complutense University in Madrid, with work placement in Paris. At a young age, she did horse riding and played musical instruments, including piano, violin and guitar. [4] She became the owner of the fashion label Silk Collective and a co-founder of Authentirary, [5] a travel agency that provides cultural experiences across many countries, according to an article published in Esquire. [3]

Family

Her grandfather is the Sultan of Brunei's special advisor, Pehin Dato Isa. [6] [7] She is the daughter of Siti Mariam Isa and Ivica Adam Kalebic, a Croatian-born individual also known as Adam bin Abdullah. Her parents are divorced. [8] Her husband is also said to be good friends with her brother, Danial Deen Isa-Kalebic. [9] Anisha has two brothers, Danial Deen Isa-Kalebic [10] and Idris Isa-Kalebic, and a sister, Marina Isa-Kalebic. From her father's other relationships, Anisha has four half-siblings: Alexander (from relationship with actress and lawyer Trudy McBride), Anna Maria, Jean Pierre, and Natasha. [11] [8]

Marriage

Anisha and Abdul Mateen are said to have been dating for a number of years since 2018, despite the fact that not much information has been made public. They have been sighted together at a number of public gatherings, such as Princess Azemah's wedding in January 2023. [3] The couple both enjoyed working out, with her interest in cooking as well and instructs her fans on how to cook on her Instagram profile. [5]

Abdul Mateen was the first to arrive at the ceremony; the couple arrived separately. A 17-gun salute marked his arrival, and a procession of forty spear bearers preceded him. Anisha arrived and received the same blessings from the Sultan and Queen Saleha before anybody else did. The pair wore coordinating crimson dresses for the occasion; they were opulent and obviously very well designed and ornamented. [12] They were officially married on 11 January 2024. [13] [14]

President Joko Widodo, President Bongbong Marcos and Liza Araneta Marcos, Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Ho Ching, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Wan Azizah are among the special guests at the wedding on the 14th.
