Amirabad ( Persian: امير آباد) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Howmeh Rural District of the Central District of Shirvan County, North Khorasan province, Iran. [4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Allahabad-e Olya. [5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 255 in 65 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 341 people in 104 households. [7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 279 people in 84 households. [2]
