Altınordu is municipality and district of Ordu Province, Turkey. [2] Its area is 410 km2, [3] and its population is 235,096 (2022). [1] It covers the agglomeration of Ordu and the adjacent countryside. The current acting mayor is Ulaş Tepe ( CHP). [4]
The district Altınordu was created at the 2013 reorganisation from the former central district of Ordu Province. [5] [6] [7] Its name means Golden Horde, a historical empire.
