The Alliance for Democracy and Freedom in Iran, also known as ADFI or Mahsa, was an Iranian organization formed in 2022 during the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, dedicated for the purpose of nonviolent overthrow of Iranian regime and replacing it a secular democratic government.
It was formed by its six initial signatories and several public figures.
The group reportedly fell apart a month after it was created. [1] [2]
The Mahsa Charter of Solidarity and Alliance for Freedom includes Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Convention on the Rights of the Child, Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
