Alginatibacterium is a Gram-negative, strictly aerobic and rod-shaped bacteria genus from the family of Alteromonadaceae with one known species ( Alginatibacterium sediminis). [1] [2] Alginatibacterium sediminis has been isolated from coastal sediments. [2]
