In Greek mythology, Alcaea ( Ancient Greek: Άλκαίαν) was a Thessalin princess as the daughter of King Hypseus of Lapiths and the naiad Chlidanope. [1] [2] She was the sister of Cyrene [3], Themisto [4] and Astyaguia [5].
