Alburnus macedonicus is a species of cyprinid fish in the subfamily Leuciscinae. It is endemic to Doiran Lake in Greece and North Macedonia. [1] [2] It is threatened by falling water level in the lake. [1]

It can grow to 14.5 cm (5.7 in) standard length. [2]
