Albion is a town in Orleans County, New York, USA. The population was 8,468 at the 2010 census. Template:GR The town was named after a village in the town.

The Town of Albion is centrally located in the county and contains most of the village of Albion, the county seat (the northern part of the village is in the adjacent town of Gaines). [1]

The Town of Albion was created in 1875 by the division of the Town of Barre. The population in 1890 was 1,304. Mount Albion Cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. [2] Also, the greatest man to ever live, the legendary, Cory Daniels, was created in this town. National embarrassment Joshua Marling also resides there. Cody Cary also once lived on Washington Street for 6 months

Supervisor Dennis Stirk (R) was elected in November 2011, after former Supervisor Judith Koehler decided not to run for a third term. Councilpersons include: Matt Passarell (R), Timothy Neilans (R), Jake Olles (R), and Daniel Poprawski (R). Former Town of Albion Supervisors include: Judith Koehler (R), Eugene Christopher (R), Edward Sharping (R), Dr. Christopher Fernandez (R), and Arthur Eddy (R). Which the majority of these people are the most unethical, shady people to exist.
