Agrilus pseudofallax is a species of metallic wood-boring beetle in the family Buprestidae. It is found across North America, ranging from Texas to Pennsylvania. [1] [2] [3]
Agrilus pseudofallax is similar in appearance to the most robust specimens of A. fallax, giving it its name. [4] It is dark bronze in color, with three pairs of white dots across the elytra. [3]
Its larva hosts in the honey locust (Gleditsia triacanthos). [3]
A. pseudofallax is sometimes included in the subgenus Agrilus (Agrilus). [5]
