The Absolute Universe (AU) is an upcoming American comic book shared universe to be overseen by Scott Snyder and published by DC Comics. As part of the DC All In initiative, it will be a separate continuity from the DC Universe, debuting in the aftermath of the Absolute Power crossover event. The AU will debut in October 2024. [1]

Publication history

The Absolute Universe (AU) is an all-new continuity separate from the DC Universe (DCU) overseen by Scott Snyder as part of the DC All In initiative. [2] According to Snyder, while the DCU is "influenced by Superman energy", the AU is "influenced by Darkseid energy", making society treating its superheroes as underdogs. [3] [4] The AU will begin October 2024 with the DC All-In Special, followed by Absolute Batman and Absolute Wonder Woman during that same month, while Absolute Superman will debut in November 2024. [5] [6]
