The 2024–25 Colorado Avalanche season will be the 46th season for the Avalanche as the National Hockey League (NHL) franchise that joined the league in 1979, and their 29th playing season since the franchise relocated from Quebec prior to the start of the 1995–96 NHL season. [1]
