The 2023 West Asian Baseball Cup is the 15th edition of the tournament, held from 26 January to February 1, at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad, Pakistan. [1]
The 2023 edition of the tournament sees Palestine participating for the first time in the competition. [2]
The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in Iran in 2021, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. [3]

Due to visa issues, it was believed Team India may not participate in the tournament. [5] The issue was resolved on 27 January, [6] but the delay resulted in Team India being forced to forfeit their first match to Palestine. [7]
