The Florida Everblades are the Hurricanes East Coast Hockey League affiliate.
Carolina re-acquired the third-round draft choice from Philadelphia in exchange for a sixth-round pick (192nd overall) in this year's draft and a third-round selection in the 2003 Draft.
The Hurricanes also acquired a fourth-round pick in the 2003 Draft from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for their sixth-round pick (174th overall), two eighth-round picks (255th and 256th overall) and ninth-round pick (286th overall) in this year's draft.

Carolina re-acquired the third-round draft choice from Philadelphia in exchange for a sixth-round pick (192nd overall) in this year's draft and a third-round selection in the 2003 Draft.
The Hurricanes also acquired a fourth-round pick in the 2003 Draft from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for their sixth-round pick (174th overall), two eighth-round picks (255th and 256th overall) and ninth-round pick (286th overall) in this year's draft.
