Jim Sweeney, the team compiled a 6–3 record and finished second out of four teams in the Big Sky Conference. Future Wyoming and Purdue Head Coach
Joe Tiller was named All-American (HM) as he led the Bobcats to a 6-3 record. Tiller was invited to the East-West Shrine Game following the season.[1]
