The 17th SAARC summit was held on November 10, 2011, in the South Province of Maldives ( Addu Atoll, Addu City, Hithadhoo). [1] The theme of the summit was “Building Bridges”. [2] The chairman of the summit was Maldivian President, Mohamed Nasheed. The summit was held at the Equatorial Convention Centre. [3] [4]
