It was screened at a number of film festivals such as the Jaipur International Film Festival, Pune International Film Festival, [4] Zanzibar International Film Festival, [5] San Diego Arab Film Festival, [6] Casablanca Arab Film Festival, [7] and Aswan International Women's Film Festival. [8]

Plot

A number of obstacles stand in the way of a young Yemeni couple, as only 10 days are left before their wedding. Each obstacle is, in one way or another, caused by the aftermath of the 2015 war in Yemen. [9]

Rasha and Ma'moon, a young Yemeni couple, [10] were set to get married, but the war of 2015 stood in the way of their wedding. [11] After so much suffering, they tried the best they could to make it happen in 2018. Yet again, obstacles appear, but this time it's not the war; it's the aftermath. [12]

Starting from searching for an apartment at a reasonable price, having to deal with war dealers who control the city, clashing with armed militias, and facing the suffocating economic crisis in Yemen, [13] the couple races against time to make sure that the wedding, [14] which is scheduled to take place in 10 days, takes place on time. As a result of the destruction of the infrastructure in Aden due to successive wars and the deterioration of cinemas due to negligence, [17] the producers had no choice but to rent two wedding halls to screen the movie inside. [18]

The film was shot on a budget of $33,000. It was sponsored by Yemeni businessmen in return for playing their advertisements on the screen before the beginning of the film.

The film was shot entirely in Aden City, and filming lasted only one month. [19]

All attempts to show the film in Hadhramaut and Sana'a also failed. [25] [26] [27]
