A few pointers:

• Follow WP:MOS with regards to capitialisation in headings
• Put the portal template in the See also section as per convention
• Do not add redlinked categories unless they are going to be used
• Do not add redundant categories
• Try and add prose to articles
• Do not add info that has a very tenuous connection to an article.

I am giving this up. I was working on the lists and trying to put together trails for everyone to have access to. I know that I wanted the information and would have appreciated if someone else had done this. I had planned on making the list of trails and then adding the trail information when I had finished the lists themselves. However, I see now that it was a worthless effort to try to add that to this site. If everyone wants to just delete everything that I've been trying to work on and improve, then it's not worth my time to be here.

Please don't resign. I did not notice that you had just created the article. I seriously violated WP:DONTBITE guideline (I'm assuming you're new at Wikipedia; if you're not, please ignore). I applaud your work and do not want to impede, let alone delete your efforts. I am also going to make a couple of suggestions that I hope are constructive. First, I noticed from the List of Hiking Trails in Alabama that you have a lot of numbers but you haven't given any sources for them. Editors are going to call you on that. Second, a list like that on Wikipedia can't be exhaustive because Wikipedia is not a directory. The trails should be notable in some way (and sources will support this). Third, at this stage of Wikipedia, it's usually better to create the content first, i.e. more state pages, and later create the national list of lists. There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.
