I like the image of the Liege turret: the only problem is that Liege is in Belgium and has nothing to do with the Maginot fortifications, apart from being of the same era. Perhaps that image would be better suited for Battle of Liege#Fortifications, which might need to become a daughter article eventually. Acroterion (talk) 20:57, 5 February 2009 (UTC)

Hi Pmcyclist, I noticed your joining Wikipedia:WikiProject Massachusetts and mention of willingness to take pics. Please check out List of RHPs in MA to see the many places listed on the National Register of Historic Places (and hence known to be wikipedia notable) but lacking pics. The honor roll of NRHP sites is the List of NHLs in MA. Each has a Boston sublist. Note that you can click on the "Map of all coordinates" link in those list-articles to see, in Google or another map service, the more-or-less exact locations of most of the sites. The coordinates are not entirely accurate though, so if you have a GPS device you might find some are off by 100-200 yards, but hopefully it would be close enough for you to find them. There is a User:Andrew Jameson who bicycled to most of the 231 NRHP sites in Detroit, Michigan to score pics for its list. It would be great if you would choose to take pics during your cycling or otherwise. I am working on a manual of style for dermatology-related content, and am looking to create a list of suggested sections for biographies about dermatologists (see Category:Dermatologists for example articles). There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. Hi! Since you're a member of WikiProject Pittsburgh, I wanted to invite you to the Wikipedia Tenth Anniversary celebrations we're having in Pittsburgh on Saturday, January 15. During the daytime, we're going to be having a photo contribution drive where anyone can bring in their digital photos or prints and Wikipedians will teach people how to upload them and add them to articles, and maybe introduction to Wikipedia workshops as well. There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.
