How do you review student edits?

I have seen that you are noted as an instructor of a UMD course at Wikiedu. I admit that I know nothing of how such are conducted, but have seen some unhappy effects here at Wikipedia, requiring cleanup by others. If you would look in at Talk:Good_Friday#History and the next section to note two different unhappinesses I would appreciate that. My question would be - how do you work to minimize the negative impacts of student edits? Or perhaps more interestingly, how do you yourselves *notice* those negatives? Hmm, also, why do the student editor's user pages point to [1] whereas yours points to Wikipedia:Wiki_Ed/University_of_Maryland/Introduction_to_Information_Studies_(Spring_2019). One page has two students as instructors plus you, whereas the WP page has you as the instructor. I just posted 'instructor' questions to two students out of confusion. Good grief. @ Shenme: the on-wiki page is a mirror of the page on the Wiki Education dashboard. The on-wiki page exists to make sure that there's a record on Wikipedia of the class, not just something on our server, outside of Wikipedia. Ian (Wiki Ed) ( talk) 17:09, 1 May 2019 (UTC) reply
