Your previous account

Mind disclosing your previous account? Or are you going to state that you edited as an IP first and that this is your very first account? Or that this is account is a WP:LEGITSOCK account? I mean, you're obviously not new. Any experienced editor who decides to look at your early contributions, despite your blue-linked user pages that would otherwise cause them not to suspect that you are new, can see that. You showed up out of the blue to comment at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2020 April 12 (right after me), have commented on BLP, and seemed to be trying to get WP:Autoconfirmed.

If you reply, I'd prefer that you reply here instead of on my talk page, which would split the discussion. Flyer22 Frozen ( talk) 04:45, 24 April 2020 (UTC) reply

Coming Back

Honestly, love, it’s nothing personal. I was a wiki editor back in the Wild West days of the early aughts but moved abroad for work (so didn’t have much access to many USA websites). Came back to the states after getting married this year. quarantine (or maybe a bit of boredom) inspired me to come back. Was watching The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez on Netflix and checked out the poor boy’s page. Old habits die hard so I checked out his categories and saw the one we’ve been talking about. saw it was up for discussion. Didn’t mean to ruffle any feathers, dear. Seems many things have changed since the early days, but I’m very impressed by your diligence!

User-generated content

Hi, I could not accept your edit to LGBT symbols because none of the sources that you cited were reliable. Please read the guidance on user-generated content. Blogs, Tumblr, Twitter, and so on, are not reliable sources. Please find reliable independent sources for the content before adding it again. Thanks! Wikiquote links

Can you please stop adding Wikiquote inline templates to infoboxes, where they don't belong? They should be used in the external links section of an article, not in the module of an infobox. -- Politicsfan4 ( talk) 21:40, 14 March 2021 (UTC) reply

Hi dear, we have guidelines for where Wikiquote inline templates can go, but no hard guidelines against them in infoboxes. There is already so little integration across the Wikipedia sister project that for you to unilaterally go to each individual page and revert the changes (rather than let the individual page watchers decide for themselves) is both an act of entitlement and stupidity. Sockpuppet investigation

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jpesch95, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
