I notice you are removing red links in many articles with the edit summary justifying this with WP:WTAF. That is just an essay. As it indicates at the top of that essay, the official guideline is Wikipedia:Red link which says that red links should be retained unless the topic could not merit an article in Wikipedia. Hi Peter, I'd always assumed that was Birkenhead but you make a good point that it could be Wallasey, I don't actually know where the boundary is.
