Please stop adding legacy colored maps. It’s better to have no map than to have maps that violate consensus. I took them out for a reason. Jasper Deng (talk) 22:49, 7 September 2023 (UTC) reply

@ Jasper Deng: From the reader's perspective, it is better to have a map with legacy colors than none at all. I'll stop adding the legacy-colored maps for now though. ~ Hiking Hurricane ( contribs) 22:54, 7 September 2023 (UTC) reply
Not when it's confusing, especially as the small infobox has no map key.-- Jasper Deng (talk) 22:58, 7 September 2023 (UTC) reply
True. I'll try to get as many of the path files as I can made tonight so they can be put in the infoboxes. ~ Hiking Hurricane ( contribs) 23:02, 7 September 2023 (UTC) reply

WikiProject Tropical Cyclones: Case modified by motion

Hi HikingHurricane,

This motion does not affect you and you can safely ignore and/or remove this message. You're receiving this notification because you had been a party to the case.

In the "WikiProject Tropical Cyclones" arbitration case, remedy 9 ("MarioProtIV topic ban") has now been rescinded following a successful topic ban appeal at WP:ARCA. There will be a notification about this at the ArbCom noticeboard shortly.

Best regards,
~ ToBeFree ( talk) 12:22, 8 September 2023 (UTC) reply

Do not ever insert new legacy-colored maps, like you did here, not even if the new colored maps are not yet available; either make the new-colored map or omit the map entirely. Inserting old-colored maps is not only against the RfC but also WP:ACCESSIBLE. Jasper Deng (talk) 08:50, 11 October 2023 (UTC) reply

I just have concerns as I have seen someone (I think HikingHurricane or HurricaneEdgar) do vandalism under a similar name like yours. It could be a happy coincidence or maybe youre a big HikingHurricane fan but I just wanted to be weary. ✶Mitch 199811 22:29, 12 October 2023 (UTC) reply
