This List of non-public schools in Colorado was created from the Colorado Department of Education's list of non-public schools for the school year of Fall 2011 [1] and conforms to Colorado Department of Education's official language and is in line with the Colorado Statutes for Non-Public Schools [2].
Colorado Department of Education’s Division of Innovation & Choice is located at 201 East Colfax Avenue, Suite 300 in Denver, Colorado. The Expanded Learning Opportunities Initiative seeks to spark the unique potential within each student through personalized learning experiences. They are in partnership with the Colorado Legacy Foundation [3] to challenge current assumptions about public education and improving outcomes for all students [4]. “By rethinking when, where and how teaching and learning take place, the Commission challenges education leaders to consider how school could be fundamentally different,” commented Elaine Gantz-Berman, Chair of the ELO Commission and member of the Colorado State Board of Education.
This list is arranged by Colorado County - School District.
