Hi, I am Apostle Tau. I'm 19 years old and am currently attending a large, grant-based institution located somewhere in the United States. I am highly introverted so I tend to keep to myself most of the time. Instead of pasting numerous userboxes all over this page, I have opted to provide several paragraphs on who I am and what my likes/dislikes are. I love to write, so this method works better for me anyways. If you ever want to chat more, then just let me know and we can do so through instant messaging.

Likes/Dislikes/Hobbies/Etc
First and foremost, my life is dedicated to the work of Christ and helping others. By helping others, I give meaning to my life and to the world I live in. I am studying to become a teacher, because I love kids and want to spend my life helping them grow properly in a loving environment that teaches life management skills. All too often kids grow up to become hostile teenagers that in no way make the world a better place to live. In my opinion, the public school system in America is an absolute failure.

As far as my likes go, I have many but will strive to keep this short and sweet. I enjoy playing and watching many sports, such as soccer, tennis, and hockey. Being a guy, loving sports should come as no real surprise. I also love watching movies, as I have started collecting them. My favorite genres are comedy and horror. Speaking of comedy, my life would be very dull without it. My humor is satirical in nature, as I love to mock society and the robots that live in it. More on those robots later. I enjoy all forms of music, especially rock and oldies. Obviously, I like to do computer-related things and also enjoy playing video games. I love to read, and am particularly fascinated with ancient history and the fall of the Roman Empire. Finally, my life generally focuses on the past, as I love to be nostalgic.

Now to move onto my dislikes. As I spoke of before, I think society in general is full of robots; that is people who are mostly alike and share the same structure. I would say that about 80% of the people I meet are pathetically similar, and by far teenagers are the worst. Either this clique or that clique, it just doesn’t matter because so many forget who they are and instead opt to "fit in" and be like everyone else. I don’t blame people for being alike though; instead the blame falls onto a societal structure that dictates similar goals for every individual, which include; making money, being popular, and having selfish interests. Luckily, every now and then I meet someone who is so distinctly different from others that I realize all is not lost. As you can probably tell by now, I am a serious labeler. I guess I need to work on that lol. Besides people, I really do not have too many dislikes. Yes we all have our pet-peeves, but small things like that merit no real attention. I try to have a very open mind to everyone and everything, but honestly I’m usually just left disappointed and discouraged.

One thing that I do absolutely hate is the human sex drive, and how much control it seems to have over individuals. I guess that’s why I love kids so much, because they are indeed innocent and free of the many mental pollutions that haunt all others after "growing up." Not surprisingly, my dislike of most teenagers is only fueled by their raging "uncontrollable" hormones. In case you’re wondering, I’m mostly asexual. As a male though, I have been through all the stages that testosterone has put up against me, and have been mostly victorious. However, we all have to act crazy sometimes, and I’m just glad that I can live through my fucked up moments without having any regrets. :)
