What makes the USA so special that only American coins are used on the numismatics template?
To bad n;erugnzbde link to the Portal:Numismatics isn't inside the box. Jidanni ( talk) 23:48, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
The template links to category pages when there are good articles on the same topic. For example Category:Circulating_currencies instead of List of currencies, or Category:Coins_of_ancient_Greece instead of Ancient Greek coinage. Perhaps it would improve navigation to go to articles? I'm looking for an Info box (edit: Nav box really) listing the different types of currencies including Electronic money. But does Numismatics, the study of Notes and Coins, really cover these new Digital currencies? Does Numismatics even cover currency - the flow of money, rather than the physical objects used as money. Jonpatterns ( talk) 11:45, 13 March 2014 (UTC)
