It has been noted, correctly i assume, that it is the old Nicholas County High School which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The article currently describes the new school.
I wonder, could the article be revised to cover both? A section on the old school could include, for a start, the following NRHP infobox:
Nicholas County High School | |
Location | Main St., Summersville, West Virginia |
---|---|
Coordinates | 38°16′51″N 80°51′27″W / 38.28083°N 80.85750°W |
Built | 1913 |
Architect | Warne,H.Rus; Shrake,P.Q., & Son |
Architectural style | Renaissance |
NRHP reference No. | 89000185 [1] |
Added to NRHP | March 27, 1989 |
Such combo articles are fairly common in cases like this where the NRHP-listed property has exactly the same name as a replacement building. I'll watch here for discussion. doncram ( talk) 20:57, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
